Some days, you just don’t want to get out of bed. Some days, you’re really bored so all you do is lay in bed. I have a mixture a both. It can be hard to stay motivated and be productive with your day.
Here are a few tips to having a productive day!
1. Wake up early, or don’t— Now, I’m not an early bird. But I do believe that sleeping in until noon doesn’t help me be more productive. I feel lazy because I wasted most of my day sleeping. Getting up around 10 is the best time for me. It’s not too early and it’s not too late.
2. Have an energizing breakfast— I start my day off with a glass of water and then I eat something light but energizing like fruit or toast with peanut butter and honey. This gives me a boost instead of making my feel sleepy and wanting to go back to bed.
4. Do something uplifting— this could be anything. Going for a walk or jog, listening to your favorite songs, reading a book, something that recharges your batteries. It’s important for use to do activities that inspire us.
5. Get enough sleep— this is crucial for having a productive day but also for your health. You know how many hours of sleep is best for yourself. If you’re sleep-deprived, your immune system and brain can’t function well. To me, if you go to bed before midnight, you’ll feel more rested.
