It’s The Last Day Of May!

Hello lovely bloggers!

As you know, May is almost over. And with that, your reader is full of May Favorites and Monthly Wrap Up posts. I haven’t done one before so this will be my first time! I want to share what I was obsessed with, what I did this month (because I don’t really talk about my life), what I achieved, and what I’m thankful for (because I don’t do this enough already) So, let’s get started!

Here’s what I was obsessed with this month!

My beauty obsession— usually, I don’t try new beauty products. Once I like something, I stick to it. But, I’ve been trying new face masks. I bought these products today and hopefully, I’ll fall in love with at least one of these. I also have been using some SPF products I got from my Birchbox.

My fashion obsession— because it’s summer, I have been shopping like crazy. I bought a couple new shirts, cardigans, shorts, and sandals last week. I love the roman style sandals, high waisted shorts, and cute, simple, plain tops! Most of the time, I shop at Goodwill. You can find some really nice clothes there. You just gotta know how to shop at Goodwill.

My food obsession– pickles are amazing! I have no idea why I’m obsessing over them this month. No, I am not pregnant! I just really like the taste, which is odd because a year ago, I didn’t like pickles at all. I only ate Dill Pickle Chips. Because my favorite chips of all time is no longer in stores, I think that’s why I turned to actual pickles.

Here’s what I did this month!

I traveled to What Cheer, Iowa— my parents and I went to The Flea Market In What Cheer, which was huge by the way. My favorite part was talking to this lady about her two beagles she rescued from a hoarder and a puppy mill. They were in rough shape when she adopted them. I loved talking to her about this because I’ve been wanting to adopt a beagle, but was skeptical. She reassured me and made me feel excited to adopt!

I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert— this was a lot of fun! I was super nervous because I went with my brother and his friend, which I’ve never hung out with my brother before. We aren’t very close and our personalities are different. He isn’t much of a talker and doesn’t get too excited about things. But, I had a great time with him!

Here’s what I achieved this month!

I finally did my laundry— I’ve been super busy this month with finals, my summer class, work, and family. I never got around to it, until all my drawers were empty. Now, my clothes are all fresh and clean!

I got a membership at Sun Tan City— yes, tanning beds are bad for you. But, I’m tired of being super pale, especially during summer. So, I finally bought my membership last week and it feels good to be back after two years!

Here’s what I’m grateful for this month!

I passed all of my classes— finals week was at the beginning of May and I gotta say, I was getting a little worried I wouldn’t do so good on my tests. My midterm exams went badly and dropped my grades big time. But, I ended up getting three A’s and two B’s.

I have friends in my summer class— we were all in Spanish 1 together but not in Spanish 2. I didn’t think we’d have class together again. But, we’re all together this summer! Knowing most of the people in my class makes Spanish fun, surprisingly.

And now, I have finished this monthly wrap up! I would love to read your monthly posts too so send me a link below in the comments section!

  2. First, thanks for finding my blog, cause yours looks awesome! Second, GIRL I LOVE FACE MASKS TOO! If you haven’t, check out the brand Tony Moly, oh my goodness, I love the products!! You can find them if you have an Ulta, Sephora store, but (and it’s cheaper) if you get them online. On amazon there is a set of 10 masks for only like $8 or so versus in the store one mask is like $2-$3 each. When I get stressed, I like using a face mask and force myself to take a break. I’ll be looking around your posts 🙂 have a great day!

      1. No problem! Tony Moly is a Korean brand and they have adorable stuff. I also have a pink bunny face spray that smells of delicious fruit, and an under eye panda stick to help bring some cooling. Their masks are really wet so they stick to your face well, some people like it, some don’t. I enjoy it because it’s moisturizing. But yeah, they have some really nice stuff, and if you like adorable cute products, definitely check them out. And if you get the set, don’t worry, the broccoli mask DOES NOT smell like broccoli it basically smells like the other masks, which is a pleasant scent.
