Do You Have A Bullet Journal Yet?

So I admit it, I am a bullet journal junkie and I love being organized and creative with it. I think a bullet journal is perfect for me because it helps reduce my stress and anxiety. I kind of stopped working on it once I started my blog a few months ago. But, today, a new one came in the mail! I’m super excited to get started. Anyways, the post.

It helps organize your life. You can create to-do lists, trackers, monthly overviews…you can create anything that helps your be more productive. My to-do lists are usually small tasks like taking out the trash. But when I check them off, I feel like I achieved something. I feel proud that I did something instead of just watching Netflix. Once you’re in, it’s hard to not be productive.

The best thing is that you can create pages that you need. You don‘t have to put up with unnecessary pages, you can just leave them out as you create your own planner, completely customized to your needs. Also, you can always change the pages up, constantly creating a system that is perfect for your life at any given moment.

The more pages I make, the more creative I get. I’m always looking for inspiration and enjoy experimenting with my pages. I go back and add new things like stickers, doodles, sticky notes…anything I feel like to make the page look more complete. When I sit down and work on my journal, I feel relaxed, like the world isn’t on my shoulders. I get lost in the moment and totally zone out for hours.

You can literally write everything down in a bullet journal. From to-do lists, to appointments, budgeting, your goals, your dreams, your wish list, whatever you want. Because it is an empty notebook, it can be whatever you need. You can keep all of your stuff with you all the time instead of carrying around different notebooks. All of your planning is in ONE place.

Well, bullet journaling wouldn’t be so addictive if it wasn’t fun. I can imagine, that a lot of people find planning or organizing stressful. This is where a bullet journal can help. It’s not just your typical “fill in the boxes” type of calendar, but, as I already explained, it is also a creative outlet. So you are planning and getting organized all while you are having fun drawing, coloring, and decorating pages!

Do you use a bullet journal? How do you keep track of your to-do lists? Comment 🙂Screen Shot 2017-07-16 at 11.34.27 PM

    1. A bullet journal is so much more than a to-do list. You can keep track of anything and everything. You can write about yourself and others. It could be a planner, calendar, tracker, diary all in one!

  1. I love these! These reasons are so true for me, too. Many people see bullet journaling as a lot of extra work, but to me it is very relaxing and gives me a great creative outlet that produces a useful end result. I love the fact that it’s so customizable and I can add in whatever I want. Your bullet journal looks lovely, by the way!

  2. I’ve never gotten into bullet journals, but I’ve seen how they helped people. I know when I was struggling with depression, making lists made me really happy. It was something that helped my focus. I don’t do list making a lot, but I do keep a planner with me, mainly for blog post reference on what was written for the week. I like it. I like to stay organized, especially when I’m not the best organized person. 🙂

  3. I haven’t started one yet, because in my opinion, I’m too busy with other things. Which isn’t really true, I don’t know how to start it and I don’t know if I can keep it up. I always love bullet journal blogposts and video’s, but I think I’m not the right person for it. I love that first ‘bucketlist’ photo, I read it and I saw you have ‘go to a concert’ twice standing there, haha, never mind. I loved the blogpost. xo

  4. I love to make lists as well and stay organized with my Passion Planner. There are also extra pages you can add in for meal tracking, goal setting, finances, and notes. It was well worth the purchase! I actually haven’t heard of a bullet journal but it looks really neat! Your list is awesome!
