Happy Monday! You know what that means right? Another weekly inspiration post. If you’re new to my series, welcome. I hope you like this series as much as my readers. You see, I want bloggers to feel more appreciated and noticed of their hard work. Also, I hope these posts will help you find other blogs. Also, this weekly post is a little on the sensitive side so please bare with me.
HOW IT WORKS
- Every Monday I will post a weekly inspiration post
- I will pick one post published within the last week (or two)
- The blogger will be tagged and I’ll provide a little introduction
- I will tag a post that I enjoyed most
- I’ll mention why it caught my attention and what I liked about it
AN INTRODUCTION TO THE BLOGGER
Jade has a lifestyle blog and writes over at Life According To Jade. What started out as a hobby turned into a passion. Her blog is a place where she can express herself fully and considers it “her time” especially with being a stay-at-home mom.
THE POST I REALLY ENJOYED THIS WEEK
I came across her post about her University Experience and I thought I could really relate to her. She talked about her FIRST YEAR, where her expectation weren’t meant. She was hoping to meet a lot of people and get out of her shy zone. Well, that didn’t happen for the both of us. My course load was intense so I didn’t socialize enough. Which made me feel depressed, lonely, and wanting to go home.
Then she talked about her SECOND YEAR, where it started off with going out more and spending time with friends. But she also had a long distance relationship that kept her cooped up in her room. I had a similar experience with my boyfriend. We hardly talked. It put a lot of stress on our relationship. I drifted away from friends and school work.
Lastly, she talked about her THIRD YEAR, where she didn’t go to her graduation mostly because she didn’t want to go back to that place. Now, I didn’t have this experience, but my third year was pretty bad with my roommate. She was, how do I put this, a psychotic monster that loved to see me cry and wanted to destroy me.
Anyways, we both had expectations that weren’t meant. A little advice, don’t expect everything will be better simply by attending college. We have to make it how we want it ourselves. Put yourself out there and don’t rely on other’s for happiness. YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT! And you can 🙂
Well, there you have it! I’d love to know what you think about this post and my series. Make sure you comment below and share a little about you college experience. I also hope you read all of this and understood where I was coming from.
